If you are looking for a secluded and tranquil escape, then the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan in Ubud, may be a great hotel option for you. This incredible resort is nestled in the lush jungle of Ubud. There is a suspension bridge that leads to the lobby and is honestly something that I have never seen before. The villas in this hotel are surround by rice paddies and with the Ayung River in the background, you will honestly feel so serene. This is a great resort if you are wanting that Bali experience in a secluded and relaxing fashion. The spa here is incredible, and left me feeling so refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.

This resort includes a hot tub, pool, gym, and everything you could possibly need at a resort. This five-star hotel is perfection and will not disappoint!.

2. Bvlgari Resort Bali

If you are looking for a resort with an amazing ocean view, then the Bvgari Resort Bali may be the resort for you. This resort is perched upon the cliffs in Uluwatu and provides breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. This resort is a combination of Balinese influence with Italian elegance and couldn’t be more incredible. The service in this hotel is top notch and the handcrafted decor is impeccable. The villas in this resort have a private pool which also looks over the ocean and will have you never wanting to leave the resort.

This resort has two resorts and a spa and is also pet-friendly. This property has everything you could imagine, plus more, and I absolutely highly recommend a visit!

3. Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

If you are looking for that luxurious resort, but also want to enjoy the Bali landscape, then Mandapa may be a great choice for you. In true Ritz-Carlton fashion, this resort is the epidemy of luxury. What set this hotel apart from some of the others, is that they offer personalized experiences, like yoga session by the Ayung River and even quided temple tours.

This riverfront resort has 3 amazing restaurants, of course an amazing spa, and everything else you would need and expect in a five-star property.


4. Alila Villas Uluwatu

One of my favorite aspects of the Alila Villas Uluwatu wis their commitment to sustainability. They have a very minimalist design, amazing open floor plans in their villas, and each villa has their own private pool (which I used every day), and incredible panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. They have numerous eco-friendly projects, including using local materials, and lots of various community engagement programs. I also, absolutely loved the spa in this hotel. Something about having an open-air massage overlooking the ocean just melts all of your stress away!

This incredible resort is probably the most affordable on my best hotels in Bali list. This resort has everything you need including 3 onsite restaurants, a gym, pool, and views for days!


5. Viceroy Bali

If you are looking for a resort overlooking the Valley of the Kings and is absolutely the pinnacle of luxury, then you may want to stay at the Viceroy Bali in Ubud. I stayed in a villa, which featured a heated infinity pool, and was breathtaking in the evening just looking at the millions of stars in the sky. The resort’s onsite restaurants are magnificent and offers a fun mix of global flavors that were savory and delicious.

This restaurant is another spot that is pretty affordable and offers all the amenities that you want in a resort. The spa is spectacular, and the views are breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for affordable luxury.
