The vibe of the hotel is warm, and the staff are very welcoming. One of my favorite aspects of this hotel was the cafe-lounge area. I used this spot every day to do some blogging and work, and it was a great spot to meet other travelers and chat about our adventures over a great cup of coffee.

The rooms here are modern, bright, and actually pretty spacious when you look at what they cost. There is an onsite bike rental and cafe, making it a great spot to grab coffee, chat with other travelers, and then jump on a bike and get to where you need to be. It’s a great value and a great budget-friendly option for solo travelers.

2. ClinkNOORD

If you are a traveler looking for a budget-friendly accommodation with a flair, then ClinkNOORD may be the best accommodations option for you. This hostel is situated in one of Amsterdam’s most popular neighborhoods, Noord, just across the IJ River, it’s accessible via a short (and free!) ferry ride from Centraal Station.
